Whether you are in Miami for a break or on business, you will enjoy the beach, its turquoise ocean, have drinks in glamorous places, and savor late dinners.

Here the Haute Victoire guide to the best places to stay, eat and more in Miami - when it's freezing everywhere else.

Where to Stay

- The Surf Club -

My new favorite place in Miami is the Four Seasons Surf Club. The hotel is built on the existing Surf Club, a resort from the 30's, where the socialites of the past century gathered. The contempory addition combines old parts of the Surf Club, with its lobby, bar and restaurant as well as new buildings for the guest rooms. The Spanish-influenced architecture creates a very unique experience. If you are looking for a more quiet stay then the busy South Miami Beach, this is your place!

Where to Drink and Eat

- Le Sirenuse -

Le Sirenuse restaurant in the Four Seasons Surf Club, with its spectacular Spanish architecture, was revamped by French designer Joseph Dirand (also behind Parisian hot spots Loulou, Monsieur Bleu and Le Flandrin).
You will enjoy drinks at the bar as well as a delectable Italian meal served by impeccable waiters; their pasta dishes are fantastic.

- Forte dei Marmi -

Forte dei Marmi, just a quick drive to Miami beach, led us to another gorgeous Italian restaurant. The cocktail hour is a must-try and dinner is exquisite thanks to Chef Antonio Mellino. He has directed a robust menu is filled with organic and farm-raised food.

Where to Shop

- Tenoversix -

A few miles north of the Design District, a Miami shopping mecca, lives the new Tenoversix flagship store. The Little River-based brick and mortar showcases luxury brands like Rachel Comey, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, and Jesse Kamm. Tenoversix first opened in Los Angeles as a concept store carrying emerging designers in fashion, design and art before debuting outside Los Angeles.
